2014 Queen's Cup - Result

Not SRM's best outing. We were in the top 3 going into the last mark when the breeze picked up to over 20 knots. We had a long upwind leg ahead of us with only a Heavy Jib. Forecast was for much lighter breeze, so we did not bring the #3, and we were too short handed to change to the #2. During the last leg, approximately six boats ended up correcting ahead of us. Lesson learned - don't trust the forecast.
