1st in Class (Monohull). A kitefoiler in our class beat us on corrected time by only 1 minute, 37 seconds. 1st overall elapsed time (Monohull). 4th overall corrected out of 30 boats. Breezy conditions - top boat speed of 21.7 knots downwind and consistently at 17-18 knots with the A2. Very fun, fast race North East Winds at 12 - 20+ knots. windier at the top and bottom of the island Held starboard tack from start almost to 1st mark - then very short port tack to round - ducking 3-4 other boats. This long starboard was the right call. Passed over half the fleet by the 1st mark Fast, short jib reach to the second mark across the top of the island then a set onto the A2 for the run to Beavertail. Very windy - pushed hard to get through the center span of the bridge. On the way, passed an R/P 66 to leeward. Overstood to Beavertail and ended up on a jib for the last mile to round the mark. Kite take down via string worked perfectly Beat to the finish - long port - jib strop partially broke, so jib luff not as tight as neeed.
