2018 Shelter Island YC Race Weekend - Saturday Buoy Racing Results

SRM VII, the C&C 30OD, took a 1st in PHRF 1 in this two-race series of buoy racing in Gardiner's Bay off of Shelter Island, NY. The 1st start was delayed by ~two hours due to a storm system that came through. Once that cleared, two windward-leeward races where held in conditions with very puffy winds from 8knots to 17 knots. a few planning conditions allowed the boat to hit downwind speeds over 15 knots. Other boats in class included a Trip 43, two Swan 42, and a J/111.
