Winds were light, but more consistent in direction as compared to race 2.
Crew sailed extremely well.
Race Committee shortened the race. Had they not, our wind would likely have been further extended.

took a 5th in class (out of 15) and a 5th overall (out of 129) in race 2. Very light, shifty winds.
we would have done even better but got caught on the wrong side of a wind shift on leg 3, and had the wrong sail short-tacking upwind toward the finish. still, a good result.

Breezy conditions led SDYC to run the "inside" course. The race benefited smaller boats as the time on the course is reduced in breeze. J/105s took five of the top 7 positions. On SRM, the Swan 601, we managed a respectable 5th in class and 24th overall (out of over 110).
