2nd in PHRF 1 on the 24+ mile course running counter-clockwise around Shelter Island. Lost to 1st by only 28 seconds over a three-hour race. Could have easily made that up if we had a reaching spinnaker (A3 for the J/100) OR simply local knowledge on currents toward the finish. Fund race and learned the J/100 can plane. Note: Racing cancelled on Sunday at 3pm - no wind
